I had my reservations about the new coffee shop in Chattanooga called Joe Friday's. I mean, what is the real appeal of an Alaskan themed coffee shop? Then I saw it. Hidden in plain sight right by the register. A Sarah Palin calendar. (not pictured) That is when I looked around and started to notice that this was not your typical coffee shop. There were no hippsters, no piercings, no tattoos. In their place were the right wing equivalents; puckered faces, bad fitting suits, and lapel pins.  Fox news on the TV, hunting magazines and bible on the rack and I-shit-you-not, the owner looks like Sarah Palin herself. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and it wasn't from the coffee. Sorry Joe.
